Qualifications

I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Middlesex University, having trained at The Minster Centre in London.

'Integrative' means that my training included a range of different therapeutic theories and approaches (e.g. psychodynamic, person-centred, relational, transactional analysis, body psychotherapy and gestalt). In our work together, I will draw upon the most appropriate of these according to your individual needs and preferences.

Professional memberships and registrations

As a registered member of the BACP and the UKCP, I abide by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and the UKCP's Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct.

Background and experience

Before training as a therapist, I worked for 12 years in marketing and business development in the property and professional services industries. I therefore understand some of the challenges of the corporate world and difficulties that may arise in trying to balance work with other important parts of your life.

Prior to setting up my private therapy practice in 2017, I worked as a counsellor at the University of Roehampton and at the Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service. I have also worked as a telephone adviceline counsellor for CiC, an Employee Assistance Provider.
